Dr. Simona Scurtu is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and a board-certified naturopathic doctor with prescriptive authority. Dr. Simona has a primary care practice, with a focus in hormone health, functional detoxification, and brain health, including chronic migraine and headache management, and post-concussion therapy. Using an evidence-based approach, research and in-depth testing are paired to guide an individualized treatment plan.
Her customized method uses natural interventions such as nutraceuticals, intravenous therapy, physical medicine, lifestyle modifications and clinical nutrition for an individually tailored treatment. Her approach works in partnership with each patient, to uncover the intricate network of factors contributing to health. Dr. Simona understands that each individual’s perspective of health is unique, so ultimately, she is committed to optimizing wellness where body and mind are in balance with each patient’s values and their environment.
Dr. Simona has always believed in a well-rounded practice, supplementing her scientific study with a strong commitment to education, philanthropy, and spiritual endeavours.
Dr. Simona is currently a member of the American Association of Restorative Medicine, International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine, Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Her active licence is with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
During her years as a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Simona was an active member of the community, acting as a lecturer at Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, educating communities on health topics, facilitating a mentorship program for naturopathic students.
